Este es el tercer dibujo de la serie sobre Diosas Dragón: El dragón del bosque. 
En esta ilustración he usado más colores que en las anteriores (verdes, ocres-marrones claros y negros) ya que no quería darle un tono muy verdoso a la piel y el pelo, pero creo que esta elección fue acertada ;).
Como los anteriores, esta hecho con acuarelas y un poco de guache blanco para sacar algunas luces y brillos.

Aún me queda algún dibujo más por enseñaros, no os lo perdáis.

One more!!
This is the third drawing about Dragon Goddesses: The Forest Dragon.
In this illustration I've used more colors than the previous drawings (green, pastel ochre, brown and black), because I didn't want to paint in green tones her skin and hair, but I think that decision was right.
As the previous one, I used watercolors and some touchs of white gouache to create some lights.

Still I have some new drawings to show you, don't miss it.

¡Hola!
¡Este es mi dibujo más reciente! Una guapa chica con su mejor amigo, un grifo (¿y por qué no? Harry Potter tenía un Hipogrifo, :P).
Tarde 5 horas en hacerlo. Sobre todo trabaje un montón de tiempo dibujando plumas y pelo. A pesar de que dibujar pelo es muy duro, me gusta mucho porque es una actividad muy relajante.
Los tonos azules que se aprecian son a causa de la tinta Quink. Hace tiempo ya escribí en un post anterior sobre esta tinta, ¡es mágica¡ Su color original es azul oscuro, pero en el momento que la agregas agua, cambia de color y obtienes tonos azules y amarillos. Cuando trabajo con ella siempre pienso que añade unos toques mágicos a mis dibujos.

Ultimamente estoy re-diseñando el blog, si algo no funciona correctamente, lo siento mucho, ¡Dentro de nada estará terminado!

Hi!
This is my latest work! A cute girl with her best friend, a grifo (Why not? Harry Potter had a Hippogriff ;P).
I took 5 hours to make it. I spent a lot of time in drawing feathers and fur. However draw it is very hard, I like it because it very relaxing.
Blue tones are because of Quink ink. I wrote about this ink in a older post, it's magical ink, its original color is blue dark, but at the moment you add water, the color change and you obtain blue and yellow tones. I love so much work with it! I think this ink gives magical touchs at my work.

Recently, I'm working re-design the blog, so, I'm so sorry if something don't work very well, soon will be ok!

¡Hola chicos!

Estos últimos días estaba a tope de trabajo y no he tenido mucho tiempo para subir ningún dibujo al blog, ¡gracias por la paciencia!. 

A pesar de esto, ayer por la tarde aproveche un  ratito para hacer este pequeño boceto con rotuladores. Estaba muy inspirada, entre que hace tanto calor no se puede ni salir a la calle (¡40ºC!) y además he estado leyendo muchas (en realidad demasiadas) novelas fantásticas juveniles, ¡son mi pasión :D!... Seguro la pequeña maga tiene tanto calor como nosotros rodeada de plumas de fuego, ¡uf! XD

¡Este mes espero tener más tiempo libre y subir muchísimos dibujos!

Hi there!

I had been overworking since last days  and I didn't have time to spend uploading any pictures, so sorry to have kept you waiting!!.

Despite that, yesterday  I take the oportunity to make this little sketch. I was very inspired, at the afternoon was very hot  (40ºC) and I had been reading some (actually I can said too many...) fantasy novels, it's my weakness! :D. Surely the drawing's girl is very hot sorrounded by fire feathers XD!

The next month I hope make a break and upload a lot of drawings!

¡Hola!

Tenia muchas ganas de dibujar un dragón clásico, cambiar un poco mi estilo de dragón "peludo" y conseguir hacer uno con bonitas escamas y alas membranosas. 

Esta acompañado por un joven guerrero (¡siempre dibujo niñas! Este es otro pequeño cambio ;D), aunque con ese pelo tan largo podéis pensar que es una chica, XD.

No suelo pintar mucho en blanco y negro, pero cuando estaba repasando las líneas me pareció la tonalidad perfecta, ¿no lo crees?

Hi There!
I was looking forward to draw a classic dragon, I need to challenge myself to change my typical "furry" drangon and achieve to make one with nice scales and membrane wings. It's accompanied by young warrior (I'm always drawing girls! Another new change today ;D). Well, he can look a little bit girly because of his long hair... XD
I usually don't paint black & white, but when I was drawing the lines, I thought that it was the perfect color for this drawing, I did well,  didn't?

Oh! ¡Qué día más bonito! Perfecto para dibujar algo mágico, ¿no? ;D

Ayer estuve visitando el blog de Llaria Novelli, Das Shaben y me gusto mucho su recopilación de imágenes sobre unicornios (¡gracias! Me inspiro un montón :D). Me puse manos a la obra y me salió este pequeño dibujo. Una niña embaucando a un unicornio como un flautista de Hamelin cualquiera, con un caramelo ;D. Todo el mundo sabe que a los unicornios les encantan los dulces (sobre todo los que tienen corazón blandito, eso sí, nunca les deis de los que se pegan entre los dientes o estarán rumiando por una eternidad).

¡Venga! Aprovecha esta tarde y sal a buscarlos con una gran bolsa de caramelos por tu parque más cercano (pero ojo, ¡ten mucho cuidado de que las ardillas no te roben las chuches!). ¡Espero que tengas mucha suerte y veas alguno!  ;D.

Oh! What a beautiful day! It's perfect day to paint magic things, isn't? ;D

Yesterday, I was watching llaria Novelli's blog, Das Shaben, and I'm fell in love with her unicorn recopilation pictures (thanks a lot, you make a great work!). I was very inspired and made this little sketch. This girl is bewitching a unicorn, likes The Pied Piper of Hamelin, but using a candy. If you don't  know it, unicorns loves sweets ( above all, it loves candies with soft heart, but Never feed them sticky sweets, it can stuck in its teeth for eternity). 

C'mon! This afternoon hurry and go out to found some unicorns in your near park. You must use a big candy bag (but be careful, squirrels want to stolen it ) and good luck!. ;D

5. ¡Color por todas partes! Repasé algunas de las lineas antiguas y añadí algunas más, además de hacer detalles con guache blanco.
   Color everywhere! I painted some lines again and I drawed some details with ink and white gouache.

Walking with dragons

Acuarela // Watercolors

¿Quién no quiere tener por amigo a un dragón? ¡Sería fantástico! Prodrías volar subido en él (ahorrarías mucho en billetes de avión), te ayudaría a preparar fuego para cocinar, mordería a tu enemigos (bien, si tu no tienes ninguno, sólo a la gente molesta ;D) y  podrías vivir mágicas aventuras... ¡yo quiero, yo quiero! Eso si, también tiene su lado menos divertido, todos lo días tendrías que ayudarle a limpiarse los afilados dientes (necesitas un cepillo de dientes muy grande y gastar todos tus ahorros en pasta de dientes...), tendrías que hacerle la manicura (¡urrg!)  o limpiarle y abrillantarle TODAS las escamas, pero a pesar de todo esto, creo que merece la pena, ¿no? ¿Tu querrías tener un dragón también?

Siempre que dibujo dragones, me inspiro en los dragones chinos (puedes ver este  boceto de un antiguo post ). Son mas parecidos a una serpiente peludas que a un dragón mitológico europeo... Si, si, ya se que tiene un aire al dragón de "El viaje de Chihiro", pero, ¿quién no esta enamorada de los personajes de Miyazaki? ¡Soy super fan!. 

Esta semana estaba también muy inspirada por que había terminado de leer la trilogía de libros de Eragon de Christopher Paolini. Es genial, muy entretenida. Además, creo que las pasadas navidades publicaron un nuevo libro, ¡el cuarto! Espero que este libro me inspire tanto como los otros tres.

Who don't want to have  a dragon friend? Might be wonderful! You will be able to fly riding on it (you will save a lot of money on airline tickets), it  might help you to lighting of fires to cook, it might frighten your enemies (well, if you don't have anyone, only it can bite at annoying people ;D), you might live magical adventures (oh! I want it, please!!!!!!!). In despite of this, everything isn't good and fun, every day you must help to brush its sharp teeth (you need a huge toothbrush and spend a lot of money in  toothpaste...), or you must do a manicure (creepy!) and clean and polish ALL its scales... in spite of this, I think might be great, isn't? Would you want to have a dragon too?  ;D 


Everytime I draw a dragon, I inspire in chinese dragons (you can see this old sketch), it's looks like a furry snake more than a mythological european dragon... Yeah, yeah, you are right,  it looks like the "Spirited away" dragon, but Who don't love Mizayaki's characters? I'm a big fan!
This week in very inspired because I finished to read  "Eragon: The Dragon Rider Legacy" of  Christopher Paolini. It's a nice trilogy. Besides, I think the last Christmas published a  new book, the forth! I hope this book inspsire me a little bit, again ;D

Magic meeting

¡Hola!

Este  es un pequeño boceto de una niña que se encuentra ante un espíritu o dios del bosque acompañado por dos lobos negros (el del izquierda me ha quedado con una cara muy zorruna, pero le perdonamos por que es encantador ;D). Me encantan los cuentos, mitos y leyendas sobre animales, espíritus y seres mágicos que viven en el bosque y son mi inspiración a la hora de dibujar.

This is a small sketch about a girl who meets with a forest spirit or god,  escorted by two black wolfs (the left one looks like a fox, but it doesn't matter because is very charming ;D). I love tales, stories and legends about animals and magic beings who lives in the forest. These stuff is my inspiration!

Tinta Quink // Quink ink.

Todo el mundo que la ha usado alguna vez se ha enamorado perdidamente de ella. Originalmente tiene un color negro azulado, pero si la aguas obtienes unos tonos azules y amarillos preciosos. Un pequeño consejo: si pintas con lejía sobre la tinta, aparece un color amarillo fuerte espectacular. Nunca te cansas de ella, simpre te soprende, ¡es mágica! :D

Everybody who used it sometime, is crazy for it. it's magic ink! If you dip the brush directly into the ink bottle, you obtain a blue black color, but if you watering down ink, just like  you would do if you was working in regular watercolor, color changes. You get a wonderful blue and yellow shades. Little advice: if you paint with bleach, obtain awensome bright yellow colors! Amazing! :D
