Arpía // Harpy

Lápices //  Pencils

¡Hola!
Esta semana traigo un ser mitológico: Una arpía. Lo he dibujado con lápices de varias durezas (desde un 3H a un 6B para las sombras más oscuras) sobre papel de color crema para darle un toque de antigüedad. Hace mucho que no trabajaba sólo con lápices y degradados, pero la verdad que es una técnica súper sencilla que siempre da unos resultados muy bonitos. No tengas miedo y trata de dibujar algo con lápices, ¡te aseguro que disfrutaras la experiencia!

Hi!
This week I bring a mythological creature: An Harpy. I' ve drawn it using pencils with diferent degrees of hardness, from 3H (the most lighter) to 6B  (the most darker) in cream papel, because I wanted the drawing looked old.
It has been too long since I worked using only pencils and color degrees, but it's an easy technique which always brings a beautiful results. Don't be afriad and try to drawing something with pencils, I'm sure You'll enjoy the experience!

Read is one of my favorite hobbies, and if I had a dragon friend... Surely we would spent a lot of time reading together! Besides, my characters have choosen read while they are taking a bath on the river beacuse the weather is starting to be very hot, How lucky!

Un pequeño ratón. 

¡Qué envidia me da su flequillo! Soy fan incondicional de los flequillos rectos. Llevo más de 5 años con este tipo de peinado, ya es parte de mi, pero eso sí,  sufro muchísimo por tenerlo siempre bien peinado, cosa que nunca consigo, a veces pienso que tiene vida propia y le encanta "trolearme" XD.

Sobre su jersey con cuello de camisa y lazo solo puedo decir una cosa: ¡me encanta! (hahaha, es una pieza de mi armario ;D).

Little mouse.

I'm so jealous of her bangs! Looks so perfect and straight... I'm a bangs fan, I have worn this hairstyle since 5 years ago, and I still love it.  Although I fight everyday to comb it. Well, sometimes I think it's alive and it's "trolling" me XD. It's a Love/Hate Relationship.

About her jersey, only one thing can be said: I love it! (hahaha I have this one and I wear it quite often ;D).

Una de las estaciones más bellas (aparte de la primavera) ya esta aquí.  A pesar de que mucha gente sienta una gran tristeza con esta estación, es mi favorita. Todo se trasforma, se llena de colores naranjas, rojos, ocres y marrones. 

Para celebrarlo, he hecho un pequeño dibujo inspirado en el "art noveau". 

Este verano tuve la suerte de viajar a Praga (la República Checa) y pude contemplar autenticas litografías y bocetos de Alphonse Mucha en su museo. Si tienes la oportunidad de visitarlo, no lo dudes; a pesar de ser un museo pequeño, contiene una gran y variada colección de sus obras. Yo no pude resistir la tentación de comprarme un hermosísimo catalogo de las obras, para inspiración y deleite.

One of most beautiful season is here (apart from spring). Despite a lot of people feels very lonley in this season, it's my favorite. Everything changes, and the colors of world changes at same time: all is orange, red, ocher and brown.

To celebrate it, I have done a little illustration inspired in "art noveau".  

This summer I traveled to Praha (The Czech Republic), and I saw originals Alphonse Mucha's lithographs and sketches in his museum. If you can go, I recommend to see it; it's a small museum, but have big and excellent collection of his work.  I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a wonderful Mucha's catalogue, for my inspiration and delight.

¡Hola! 

Estos días he estado jugando con tintas de colores y plumillas. ¡Me encanta el color sanguina, es maravilloso trabajar con ella!

No he limpiado la imagen a fondo, para que podías percibir los detalles. Por ejemplo, a veces, las plumillas se cargan con mucha tinta y nos juegan malas pasadas, ensuciando el papel... ¡pero no hay nada que no se pueda tapar con un poco de guache blanco! Y a seguir con el trabajo. ¿Después de verlo no te apetece probar ha hacer uno? ¡Venga anímate! ;D

Hi!

These days I have been playing  with colors inks and quills. I love so much sanguine color! It's very pleasant working with it.

I haven't cleaned the picture, becuase I want to show you small details. For example, sometimes, quills takes much ink and you could get dirty the paper, but don't worry! White guache is your heroe! Covers all spots and you can drawing again! It's prefect. Do you want do it one? let's go!

Julio ha acabado y con él, el "Daily Animal Doodles Proyect" también. 

Ha sido un mes genial, me lo he pasado muy bien y he dibujando toda clase de animales (algunos desconocidos para mi, como el Jackolope). Espero que vosotros también halláis disfrutado de esta experiencia via Twitter o Flickr. 

Estoy deseando apuntarme a nuevos y divertidos proyectos :D.

July is finished, and the same time "Daily Animal Doodles Proyect" too. 

July have been great! I have had so much fun drawing animals, and I discovered new animals, like jacklope!

Estos días fui invitada a colaborar con un exposición para la galería Södra Esplanaden, en Lund (Suecia). 

35 artistas de todo el mundo dibujando perros para una exposición dirigida a perros y sus dueños (el arte es para todos :D).


Recently I was invited to collaborate in a exhibition for Södra Esplanaden gallery in Lund (Sweden).

35 artists from around the world drawed dogs for to dogs and their owners (art is for everyone :D)

Decidí hacer este elegante galgo. Me parecen preciosos, tan delgadítos.  No le pueden faltar su chalequito, su pajarita y su reloj de bolsillo para ser el más fino de la fiesta.

I decided to draw this elegant greyhound. He must wear his vest, his bow tie and his watch to be the smart of the party.

 I love greyhound , they looks so skinny... I think they are beautiful,  XD.

Aquí estoy de nuevo con dibujo muy salvaje.

Me encantaría tener un sombreo como el de ella para el invierno (de peluche claro, que yo amo a los animales) para ir bien calentita y elegante XD.

Tengo la extraña afición de comprar sombreros estravagantes. El año pasado me compre uno con orejas de osito, otro de conejo, otro de gato y la gorra de Arale con alas, y este año voy a seguir ampliando la colección.

Mis padres creen que estoy loca... .W.

Today I have a new drawing very wild.

I will love to have a hat like hers for winter (stuffed of course, I love animals). Is very warm and elegant XD.

I have the strange hobby of buying extravagant hats. Last year I bought one with bear ears, another of rabbit, another cat and Arale cap with wings, and this year I will continue to expand my collection.

My parents think I'm crazy... .W.
